Once upon a time, Norwich was the largest city in England outside of London so you can imagine how important it has been in the country’s history. Today, the city has been shaped by its past and you can see this throughout the city centre. [AD] Over the last few weeks I’ve been discovering the lovely district of Hambleton in North Yorkshire. It’s nestled between the rugged North York Moors to the east and the limestone landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales to the west with lovely rolling green fields, charming historic market towns, sleepy villages and plenty of attractions for … More 15 places to discover in Hambleton

9 best Instagram spots in Whitstable

October 5, 2021

This summer I headed down the country to Kent with two friends for a road trip around this county that’s known as ‘the garden of England’. Our last stop (and quite possibly the highlight of the whole trip) was in Whitstable. This seaside town has become ever more popular of recent – perhaps due to … More 9 best Instagram spots in Whitstable

8 reasons to visit Greenwich

June 20, 2021

For a long time, I’ve fancied exploring the area of Greenwich in South East London but it’s often felt a bit out of the way when visiting friends and family in other areas and whilst it’s been on my list it’s only recently I’ve finally made the trip! In reality it’s not that much further … More 8 reasons to visit Greenwich

14 prettiest streets in Bath

April 10, 2021

As the only city in the UK to have World Heritage status, Bath is a charming Georgian architectural gem that’s packed full of history from its Roman origins and inspired the likes of Jane Austen. 15 places to visit in West Yorkshire

Streets like this make me very happy 🥰 only one little problem here… as @emilyfp & I were walking along here there was a very strange sound… we realised it was coming from an open window and the sound was some very loud snoring 🤣

I’m so far behind on posts! It’s been such a blast having lots of trips the last four weekends (Yorkshire day trips, Edinburgh, Venice, Marbella!!) but I’m glad of having enjoyed a very relaxing and chilled out weekend. How have you spent yours?
[Invited Stay] the wonderful people at @handpickedhotels invited me to spend a night at @woodhallhotel which is set amongst incredible scenery in the Wharfe Valley. Wood Hall is on the edge of Wetherby and only around 30 min drive to Harrogate, York & Leeds so perfect for exploring the area or you can spend your whole time within the fabulous grounds. As you make your way up the drive, the beautiful main building of the hotel peeks into view and the grounds looked lush with all of the spring colours (3)! I’d love to return in autumn when the leaves on the exterior of the hotel start to change 🍂
First shot from Spain last weekend! My trip to Marbella was inspired by my grandparents and excellent flights from Leeds (which turned out to be not so excellent given security nightmares 😂). We flew into Malaga and then took the bus to Marbella (after a couple of mishaps where we ended up back at the airport about two hours after we’d left 😂).
