London is FULL of beautiful places and Instagram opportunities I swear at every corner you walk past making it very hard to choose just a few to snap when you’re visiting this vibrant capital city! So here are 12 of the most Instagrammable streets in London for you to find and add some gorgeous urban paradises to your feed, from colourful town houses to charming cobbled mews streets.

1. Colville Place

Colville Place is an unassuming little street that you really have to seek out in Fitzrovia between Whitfield Street and Charlotte Street. It’s perfect for Instagram with the perfectly positioned lamp post, colourful buildings and greenery that seems to fall everywhere 🌿

2. Neal’s Yard

Neal’s Yard is one of my favourite spots in London, hidden amongst the streets of the Seven Dials distrcit really near to Covent Garden and only about five minutes walk from the underground station! It’s become considerably more popular in the last few years as its status as a hidden gem has ironically put it on a lot of agendas. But it’s still worth seeing and it’s definitely one of the most Instagrammable spots in the city with it’s bright colours. Come early on a Sunday morning to have it all to yourself!

3. Chalcot Crescent

The area of Primrose Hill has some lovely streets (it’s the sort of place you walk through wishing you could live in every house) but the most Instagrammable has to be Chalcot Crescent. It’s a dreamy arch of townhouses dressed in pastel shades which has a rather well known fictional resident. One of the homes was used as the residence of the Bird family where they lived with their adopted family member – Paddington!

4. Kynance Mews

Kynance Mews is often said to be one of the prettiest streets in London and it’s not hard to see why. It’s popular throughout the year because of the enchanting mews homes, cobbled homes and the greenery everywhere! The mews street really comes into its own during wisteria hysteria season when the west side is bedecked in the purple jewelled plant and in Autumn when the east side is full of Instagrammers snapping the red and orange ivy that tumbles down the entrance and one home in particular as well.

5. Lancaster Road

Lancaster Road is a favourite street for Instagrammers because of the bright pop of colour along both sides of the street. It’s in the colourful area of Notting Hill so it can be very busy but please please be mindful of residents – too many times I’ve seen photos on Insta and when walking down this street of people standing on steps and porches ☹️ these are still people’s homes!

6. Elizabeth Street

Elizabeth Street itself may not be super Instagrammable but it does have some of the most Instagrammable places in London along its length which is why you have to visit it! Set in Belgravia, Elizabeth Street has some of the most famous London Instagram shop fronts including Les Senteurs, Moyses Stevens and Peggy Porschen.

They often have some wonderful floral displays to capture and really it’s a case of which order will you upload them in?!

7. Bywater Street

Walking along the King’s Road in Chelsea you’d never know that such a peaceful and colourful little street lies a stone’s throw away! But Bywater Street really is that central and totally perfect for Insta. The pastel hued homes are a favourite so make sure to stop by for a photo op.

8. St Luke’s Mews

St Luke’s Mews is an adorable mews street in Notting Hill that is super peaceful compared to the bustling streets around Portobello Road. Take a wander down and spot the pretty pink house that is one of the most popular houses on Instagram which isn’t just down to its colour… If you’ve ever watched Love Actually (and I mean seriously who hasn’t?!) then you’ll recognise it as the house that Juliet and Mark live in!

9. Holly Mount

Holly Mount is hidden amongst the narrow streets and stairways in Hampstead Village making it a charming little street to stumble upon! At the end is The Holly Bush and with this and the gorgeous lamp post make it a very popular Instagram spot for locals. I haven’t been inside this pub yet but it looks like a very cosy place to have a drink and a Sunday roast after a morning stomping across the heath!

10. Warren Mews

Warren Mews is not your typical mews street with its matte black facade and hanging greenery but this is what makes it stand out. The facade is the work of artist Rebecca Hossack and you can find her gallery nearby.

11. Watling Street

Watling Street actually dates back to the original Saxon layout of London and is thought to be one of the oldest streets in the city! For an Instagrammer however, it’s not necessarily the history that is the main reason to snap this spot it’s actually the view to St Paul’s Cathedral that you get looking back along it.

12. Grosvenor Crescent

Grosvenor Crescent is a perfect example of how the other half (although let’s be honest – the 1%) live. I always love a curving street to give some leading lines to a photo and with the columns and cheery flowers this makes the Crescent stand out on an Instagam feed 💕

I snapped these photos of Grosvenor Crescent when dashing about London and didn’t make note of the name so before sharing this on my list I spent a lot of time trying to work out from Google Maps and time stamps where I would have been when I took this 😅 I’m so glad I worked it out though because it’s a stunning street!
